Alcatraz was used to house Civil War prisoners as early as 1861. Later on, in 1868 it was officially designated a long-term detention facility for military prisoners.
In 1907, Alcatraz was officially designated as the Western U.S. Military Prison. two years later the construction began on the huge concrete main cell block, which remains the island’s dominant feature. It was completed in 1912.
The Rock was deactivated as a military prison in October 1933. During its 29 years of operation, the penitentiary claimed no prisoners had ever successfully escaped. 36 prisoners were involved in 14 attempts, two men trying twice; 23 were caught, six were shot and killed during their escape, and three were lost at sea and never found.

We all are random beings taking walks in random places. We are just like that. Spectator is the world with its own light.

We all are animals, the only difference is that we destroy for fun and they enjoy the world.
They are nature, they live on water, on earth, on air. They are faithful and they try to survive among other animals.
We are soldiers with no name, we damage the beauty of them and even eat them cause they taste good.
Animals and Human; we both are nature and we take care of them as well we kill them, however they kill each other to survive as well they bring nature life.

The most important festival in Mexico, the International Film Festival of Morelia takes place on early October every year, so I went with my friends and enjoyed the beauty of the city, which is a small town with a huge Mexican History. The buildings and people make the place look as a painting picture. So I took photos and tried to portray what Morelia means to me. I may say I would like to live there, it is such a beautiful city.

So I went to New York and all I got were those pictures… I accidentally erased all the photos I had taken during the week.
Anyway, I just started shooting again and not worrying about to do something spectacular or artistic. I will return and get those missing photos. Enjoy!
First time in San Francisco?
I bought 2 lens: a Telephoto and Wide Angle
I went with my father and I start shooting everywhere, some times I was shooting at him and he weren´t aware. I just wanted to have fun learning and trying new things. So that´s what I got.
I always wanted to do a shooting at night in downtown Mexico City, but insecurity always postponed the moment. One day I told my best friend to go with me to take pictures. I took him almost by force because it was all ready a late hour, but still he went with me and spent nearly 3 hours walking. Finally this was the result.
